h2>Dating : Identify theft — a Poem
The fear of rejection
haunts us all
We love who we are
But wish they would answer the call
The winds of change
through spring through fall
yet nothing seems arranged
birth and death come for us all
Pick up the phone!
Answer the call
We laugh at the insanity —
Without laughter its only fall
We long for acceptance
But to our values we cling
our identity is precious
like the warmth of the spring
You say it’s all semantics
that this blurb makes me a whiny bitch
I say so what about my antics
We all end up in that ditch
We jump from the nest
Hoping to fly
Sometimes we sail
At some point we all die.
Accept what we can’t control
and flush the rest
Enjoy the sun
and laugh at the jest
